Known for his raucous and party-starting bangers, iLL Chris keeps the mayhem going with new single "Gravel," which features rowdy appearances from frequent collaborators RudeAssMogli and Nate G.
These three Seattle rappers are well-versed in the art of wylin'—peep Chris performing "Pull Up" with Mogli—and they're clearly not about to slow down. At least, that's the mantra driven home by Chris, who likens his constant grind to the check on his Nikes before passing the mic to the always-wild Mogli.
Spitting through a vocal effect, he handles the hook and second verse like a man possessed, perhaps catching the holy spirit from the beat supplied Metro Boomin and Banks (of 808 Mafia). The same can be said for Nate, whose bars are hilariously disrespectful. In addition to being all up in your girl's call log, he makes it clear that he knows how to make your mama cry.
Like previous singles "Pull Up," "Numbers," and "Eurostep," you'll be able to find "Gravel" on Chris' much anticipated new album, Honor Thy Father.
"Gravel" is now available for stream and download through iTunes and all major streaming portals and digital retailers. Stay tuned for the release of Honor Thy Father which is set to drop towards the end of the summer, courtesy of EMPIRE Distribution.
