Phil Adè & Kokayi Join Martell Webster on Told 'em prod. by Jake One

It's rare enough for someone to turn their dreams into a reality once in their life, but twice? That's what former NBA baller-turned-rapper Martell Webster is doing with Emerald City, his upcoming EP produced entirely by none other than Jake One. And he's proving that he's just as gifted off the court with lead single "Told 'em," a passionate and soulful joint featuring both Kokayi and Phil Adè.

While Martell hails from and resides in the Northwest, he was inspired by the D.C. area's rap scene during a stint with the Washington Wizards. And with Jake One's production as his canvas, he reached out to some of the city's finest, including the artists on "Told 'em," to show love to the nation's capital.

Martell and his guests sound inspired and larger than life on "Told 'em" thanks to Jake One's piano-fueled and massive beat. But it's also the three vocalists flaunting their respective talents that pushes this track over the edge. Following Martell's clever, life-affirming bars, he's flanked by the huge vocals of Kokayi (seriously, dude kills it) and rapid-fire rhymes of Adè.

You can listen to "Told 'em" now, which is now available for instant grat off the iTunes' pre-order for Emerald City, which is due out August 12 via EYRST, and will be available through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms.
