Today, fantasy soul singer-songwriter, QUIÑ, released her newest track “OVER AGAIN” featuring acclaimed rapper, G-Eazy. The moody track was released exclusively via VIBE and can be listened to online here. Speaking to VIBE, the LA native discusses her second collaboration with G-Eazy:
“I wrote this song about a year ago about a mood I was in, listened back and was like ‘man this is way too smooth, I gotta call G, we talked about it for a second and he hit me back with his side of the story the next day. The moral of the story is in the first line, ‘Never again, tell me you need me, if you cannot back it up’ and to back that up, ‘The remedy’s escape the memory,’ in case it’s become too hard to not obsess over, over and over again.”
Set to release her first EP later this year, QUIÑ is looking to break barriers and blend genres with a new sound she has dubbed as, ‘fantasy soul.’ Her inspirations are fueled by the likes of Erykah Badu, The Internet, Janelle Monàe, Tyler, The Creator and more.
