Red Bull Sound Select's 30 Days in LA came to a close last night, with a rapturous sold-out performance by Australian phenom Nick Murphy (formerly Chet Faker) at The Theatre at the Ace Hotel. The evening encapsulated the energy and cutting-edge talent that has permeated a jam-packed month. The festival, which spanned the entire month of November, overflowed with special musical moments, from HAIM's emotional cover of Prince's "I Would Die 4 U" at The Fonda Theatre, to Jhené Aiko being joined by special guests like Big Sean and Vince Staples at The Avalon, Charli XCX debuting brand new songs alongside SOPHIE at Exchange LA, and Chief Keef making a surprise appearance at Fake Shore Drive's showcase at The Mayan. Spanning 19 venues across the city, this year's celebration treated music lovers to performances from some of today's most electrifying and buzzed about artists, including Jeremih, Pusha T, Isaiah Rashad, AlunaGeorge, Tory Lanez, and many more. The Red Bull Sound Select artists who opened each night bought their own exciting talents to the stage, highlighted by tremendous performances by Charlotte Day Wilson, Eryn Allen Kane, River Tiber, Kweku Collins and more, all proving why they are worthy of being tagged as the next big thing in music.
In what has become a significant and can't-miss festival within LA's musical landscape, 30 Days in LA treated fans to complimentary food upon arrival, including tacos, BBQ, pizza and more. Fans who arrived early were also given a slew of specialty items that were created in collaboration with the night's artists, such as one-of-a-kind Charlotte Day Wilson jerseys, Nicole Dollanganger's custom designed Valfré tote bags, and Tennyson-inspired pennants.
In addition to the festival's incredible performances, Red Bull Sound Select collaborated with a wide array of outside event curators to help 30 Days in LA reach its full potential as an entertainment powerhouse. At the center of these special events was the AFROPUNK Fancy Dress Ball, a night dedicated to the perpetuation of inclusiveness and love through fashion and music. Drawing from carnival traditions of the African Diaspora, the AFROPUNK Fancy Dress Ball blended the traditional masquerade ball with J'ouvert atmosphere, and featured performances from Big Freedia, Cakes Da Killa, MikeQ, UNiiQ3, LSDXOXO, and Byrell the Great, who came together to create a truly unforgettable night. Other events included Viva Presents' spotlight on female Chilean songwriters, Stones Throw Superfest headlined by Common, Fake Shore Drive's Chicago hip-hop showcase headlined by Jeremih, and a night dedicated to Laneway Presents that featured rapper Isaiah Rashad. 30 Days in LA also also hosted two dance parties curated by The Do-Over and Brownies and Lemonade.

Day 1 | Sampha | The Palace Theatre
British electronic singer-songwriter Sampha kicked off Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in LA last night, energizing a packed house at the Palace Theatre with songs from his upcoming debut album Process, including his latest hit single "Blood On Me." Buzzworthy Red Bull Sound Select artist serpentwithfeet also took to the stage with his dark, artful R&B. Fellow Red Bull Sound Select artist and cellist-singer Kelsey Lu opened the night, entrancing listeners with her gorgeous blend of vocals and cello. Day 2 | Sunflower Bean | The Roxy
NYC-based indie rock band Sunflower Bean took over The Roxy in West Hollywood, filling the air with great tunes from their debut album Human Ceremony. They were joined by lo-fi garage rockers SadGirl and Red Bull Sound Select Portland-based artists Candace. Fans who arrived early were greeted with custom leather coaster sets. Day 3 | Viva Presents | Multiply.LA
On Day 3 of 30 Days in LA, Red Bull teamed up with Pomona-based promoter Rene Contreras, founder of Viva Presents, which he created to help increase exposure for Spanish-language talent among wider audiences. The night featured all-female, all-Chilean musicians at Multiply.LA. Chilean-American pop singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela set the crowd ablaze, and dream-pop/90s rock duo Marineros kicked things off with a tremendous set. Javiera Mena closed out the night with her indie electropop sounds. Day 4 | Bob Moses | The Wiltern
Bob Moses took over The Wiltern last night with an explosive performance that featured tracks from the duo's critically acclaimed album Days Gone By. Berlin-based DJ Mike Shannon opened the night and got the crowd on their feet, and show-goers who arrived early scored bandanas with art by Teddy Kelly. Check out a full recap here.

Day 5 | Stones Throw Superfest | Sycamore Grove Park
Day 5 of 30 Days in LA saw Red Bull Sound Select team up with legendary hip hop label Stones Throw Records to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The all-day Superfest was staged in Sycamore Grove Park in Highland Park, the neighborhood where the label has been based for over a decade. Fans were treated to special performances by Common, Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf, J. Rocc, Dam-Funk, Karriem Riggins, MNDSGN, Homeboy Sandman, Mild High Club, Gabriel Garzón-Montano, Chrome Canyon, Koreatown Oddity, Sudan Archives, and Iman Omari. Day 6 | Tory Lanez | The Echoplex
Day 6 of 30 Days in LA featured an electric performance by Toronto-based hip hop artist Tory Lanez at The Echoplex. Tory rocked the house with tracks from his debut album I Told You, and New Orleans rapper Pell and Red Bull Sound Select hip hop artist Kweku Collins also lit up the stage. Day 7 | Empress Of | Club Bahia
Rising NYC-based synthpop singer-songwriter Empress Of headlined Day 7 of 30 Days in LA at Club Bahia. She left fans wanting more after memorable performances from her critically acclaimed 2015 album Me. Australian singer and rising star Banoffee and Red Bull Sound Select artist Dizzy Fae opened with outstanding sets, and fans who arrived early received custom '30 Days in LA' bracelets. Created by LA-based designer Marrin Costello, these bracelets were made of hematite, which represents strength. Additionally, Empress Of's visuals were a special request that Red Bull Sound Select helped realize with the aid of visual artist Tom Mull. Check out a full recap here.

Day 9 | Lido | The Theatre at the Ace Hotel
Norwegian producer-songwriter Lido got everyone on their feet at The Theatre at the Ace Hotel on Day 9 of 30 Days in LA. Fans were treated to a special guest appearance by Jaden Smith, who performed the Lido track "Only One." Red Bull Sound Select artist and LA-based producer Joey Dosik kicked the night off, and Red Bull Sound Select artist and producer Nick León kept the crowd rocking before Lido hit the stage. Day 10 | Charli XCX + SOPHIE | Exchange LA
Charli XCX and SOPHIE kept the crowd at Exchange LA dancing on Day 10 of 30 Days in LA, performing hits like "Boom Clap" and "After The Afterparty." New Zealand-based Red Bull Sound Select artist Montell2099 and synthpop outfit Shaed got the night going, and fans also enjoyed a very special lounge photo experience and makeup booth designed by Mexico City-based illustrator Ilse Valfré, who also designed custom satin bomber jackets for early arrivers. Day 11 | Fake Shore Drive | The Mayan
Day 11 of 30 Days in LA saw Chicago-based urban music blog and media company Fake Shore Drive take over downtown's Mayan Theater with an explosive night of hip hop featuring the talents of Jeremih, Joey Purp, Warhol.SS, DJ Oreo, someguynamedty, as well as surprise appearances from YG, Chief Keef, The Game & Natalie La Rose. Founded by Andrew Barber in 2007, Fake Shore Drive has been a longtime collaborator with Red Bull Sound Select and is known for their track record of breaking the next big hip hop and R&B artists from the area like Chance The Rapper, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Vic Mensa and Mick Jenkins. Day 12 | Bibi Bourelly | The Bootleg Theater
On Day 12 of 30 Days in LA, the soul/pop sounds of Bibi Bourelly filled the Bootleg Theater. The German singer-songwriter behind the Rihanna hit "Bitch Better Have My Money" performed singles "Sally" and "Ego" from her as-yet untitled debut album. The show was made extra special with a giant projection installation highlighting the work of local LA artist Erin D. Garcia. Red Bull Sound Select artists Harriet Brown and Sur Ellz also took the stage, getting the crowd primed for Bourelly's headline performance. Check out a full recap here.

Day 13 | Car Seat Headrest | Teragram Ballroom
Day 13 of 30 Days in LA saw Car Seat Headrest take over the Teragram Ballroom. The indie-rock darlings won the crowd with songs from their critically acclaimed album Teens of Denial. Garage psych-rock band Naked Giants and lo-fi bedroom-pop outfit Los Angeles Police Department also delivered quintessential performances on a night full of highlights. Check out a full recap here.

Day 14 | Laneway Presents | The Echoplex
Day 14 of 30 Days in LA saw Australian festival promoters and global Sound Select curators Laneway take over The Echoplex. Hip hop artist Isaiah Rashad headlined the bill, performing songs off his new album The Sun's Tirade. Isaiah was joined by SZA and Hugh Augustine for two explosive special guest appearances. Red Bull Sound Select singer-songwriter-poet Sampa the Great also delivered a powerful performance, while Sound Select worked with alt-rock/electropop outfit Mansionair to bring in a 10-person choir for their cover of "Loud Places" by Jamie xx. Day 15 | HAIM | The Fonda Theatre
HAIM marked the halfway point of 30 Days in LA with an explosive show at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. Fronted by sisters Danielle, Este and Alana Haim, the band performed songs from their critically acclaimed debut album Days Are Gone and previewed new music from their upcoming sophomore effort. Day 16 | Pusha T | The Belasco Theatre
Pusha T kicked off the second half of 30 Days in LA with an unforgettable performance at The Belasco Theatre. The Bronx-born rapper performed tracks from his upcoming album King Push, and local rapper Boogie and Red Bull Sound Select artist Tunji Ige also hit the stage. Day 17 | White Lung | Resident DTLA
Day 17 of 30 Days in LA featured a fantastic show from indie/punk rock band White Lung at Resident DTLA. The Vancouver-based group wowed the crowd, performing songs from their latest album Paradise. Red Bull Sound Select artists Nicole Dollanganger and Dude York got the night started with outstanding sets of their own. Day 18 | Dej Loaf | The Regent
Day 18 of 30 Days in LA saw Detroit-based rapper and singer Dej Loaf take over The Regent, performing her viral hit "Try Me," along with other tracks from her as-yet untitled debut album. She was joined by special guests Casey Veggies, Kid Ink and Silkk the Shocker. Red Bull Sound Select artists Sampa the Great and Namasenda also thrilled the crowd, and fans who arrived early enjoyed free pizza from Prufrock and also received a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a Solé Bicycle. Day 19 | Snakehips | The Wiltern
Snakehips brought their chill beats to The Wiltern for Day 19 of 30 Days in LA, along with a slew of special guests who turned a great evening into a truly memorable night of music. Their amazing set included the hit "All My Friends," which features vocals from Tinashe and Chance the Rapper. The British electronic duo also invited some friends to share the stage, including D.R.A.M., who sang his current smash hit "Broccoli," and their performance also featured cameos by Anderson.Paak, Raury, and Sinead Harnett and Malika, who joined them to perform their R&B gem "Falling." Red Bull Sound Select brother/sister duo Tennyson was also on the bill, and trap/house act Masego and producer AbJo kept the crowd moving. Day 20 | AFROPUNK Fancy Dress Ball | The MacArthur
On Day 20 of 30 Days in LA, longtime Red Bull Sound Select curator AFROPUNK took over The MacArthur for their first-ever edition of Fancy Dress Ball in Los Angeles. Rooted in carnival traditions of the African Diaspora, the AFROPUNK Fancy Dress Ball is a mash-up of a masquerade ball and J'ouvert atmosphere that celebrates the AFROPUNK culture by asking attendees to dress their best in any way they want to express themselves. A night of tremendous performances was highlighted by Red Bull Sound Select artist Cakes Da Killa, who has been hailed for his talent and subsequent elevation of queer visibility in hip hop. NOLA bounce legend Big Freedia capped off the night, joined on stage by Beyonce's Lead Dance Captain Ashley Everett. Also performing were the ballroom scene's Mike Q, Jersey club artist UNiiQ3, Kiki Scene vogue producer Byrell The Great, and LSDXOXO, who made his name in the trendsetting world of GHE20G0TH1K. Day 21 | Jhené Aiko | The Avalon
Day 21 of 30 Days in LA saw R&B soul singer Jhené Aiko take the stage at Hollywood's Avalon. The singer-songwriter was joined throughout the set by a variety of special guests including Big Sean, Vince Staples and more. Aiko performed songs off her 2013 EP Sail Out and 2014's full-length release Souled Out, wowing the audience with favorites like "The Worst" and "Bed Peace." Also on the bill last night were Chicago-based singer-songwriter Eryn Allen Kane, who moved the crowd with her timeless sound, and Red Bull Sound Select artist Cherrie who came all the way from Sweden to open the night with her poetic lyrics. Day 22 | AlunaGeorge | The Belasco Theatre
Electropop outfit AlunaGeorge took the stage at The Belasco Theatre last night for Day 22 of 30 Days in LA. Performing favorites like "You Know You Like It" and "I'm in Control," the duo captivated the audience with their intricate beats and infectious melodies. AlunaGeorge was joined on stage by Red Bull Sound Select artist and 30 Days performer Pell, as well as a three-piece brass band from New Orleans. Red Bull Sound Select artist Xavier Omär was also on the bill, getting the audience moving with his R&B soul sound. Day 23 | Brownies and Lemonade | Club Bahia
On Day 23 of 30 Days in LA, new LA-based Red Bull Sound Select curator Brownies and Lemonade took over Club Bahia with their B&L Lounge showcase. Brownies and Lemonade, a collective known for breaking rising electronic artists like Mark Johns, Sam Gellaitry and Jai Wolf, put together an intimate underground party featuring a special surprise lineup that included Alison Wonderland, GTA, Falcons, KRNE, Alexander Lewis, oshi, Cavalier, AObeats, Robokid, and B&L All-Stars. Alison Wonderland also brought out special guest Lido, who headlined a 30 Days in LA show earlier this month. The unique lounge atmosphere allowed fans to connect with the artists on a more personal level. Fans who arrived early received fanny packs and B&L pins that were custom-made for the occasion, and brownies were passed out as dictated by the traditions of a typical Brownies and Lemonade warehouse party. Day 25 | The Left Over | Lure Nightclub
The Do-Over hosted The Left Over at LA's swanky Lure Nightclub for Day 25 of 30 Days in LA. The special post-Thanksgiving 30 Days in LA edition of their popular hip-hop day party opened with The Do-Over DJs, followed by thrilling performances from Stro Elliot, Pomo and LeFtO. Day 27 | Aurora: Night 1 | The Fonda Theatre
Day 27 of 30 Days in LA marked the first night of Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora's two-night residency at The Fonda Theatre, where she dazzled the crowd with an emotional performance. Red Bull Sound Select alt-rock band Foreign Air and Red Bull Sound Select indie alt-pop outfit Oyster Kids also took the stage on a night full of highlights. Day 29 | YG | The Wiltern
Day 29 of 30 Days in LA saw Compton-based rapper YG take the stage at The Wiltern, where he performed songs off his most recent album Still Brazy. Special guest G-Eazy performed his politically charged "F*ck Donald Trump," and DJ Mustard and RJ also surprised fans with guest appearances. Toronto's Tasha the Amazon opened the night with tracks from her brand new EP Die Every Day, and Minneapolis rapper and Red Bull Sound Select artist Finding Novyon kept the crowd hyped. Day 30 | Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) | The Theatre at the Ace Hotel
Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker) took the stage at The Theatre at the Ace Hotel to bring this year's celebration of 30 Days in LA to a thunderous close. The Australian musician performed his unique blend of electronica, R&B, and soul for a sold-out crowd and had the whole room dancing.
