Having just broken the top 10 for the first time on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, and with astronomical streaming numbers with almost 80 million Youtube plays alone, the hip hop trio's infectious track has become a worldwide phenomenon and the viral the soundtrack to popular memes and tweets. "We're closing out 2016 with a number one record and starting the new year with one too" says 300 Entertainment founder and KWL Enterprises CEO Kevin Liles.
Billboard Magazine reports that "the track treks up the list thanks to sizeable increases in airplay, sales, and streams. The bulk of the points aiding in its rank come from 17.5 million weekly U.S. streams earned in the week ending Dec. 22, according to Nielsen Music, a 42 percent increase. It leaps 20-5 on the all-genre Streaming Songs chart, taking the Greatest Gainer award. It's the single biggest streaming week for any song from either act." The track also saw a 280% increase from last week with 116,527 downloads.
