New Video: From Jermaine Hardsoul ft. Tracey Lee "You Remind Me"

CW Music 7:15 PM

If you translate the Jermaine Hardsoul sound into a musical equation it would be: traditional soulful melodies + instrumentation + muscular hip-hop beats + writing = sonic activism. Many artists, including Musiq (SoulChild), Carl Thomas, Eric Roberson and Jagged Edge, have worked with Hardsoul to create original compositions that push the boundaries of traditional R&B and progressive urban music.

In 2016, Hardsoul continues his mission with the release of his first album LANE, an eclectic creation and curation of songs that bounce from old school R&B to Nu-Soul. Attention Grown Folks: You will be dancing! The project features fellow established artists such as Carmen Rodgers of Foreign Exchange, Shamea Morton of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Darius Scott of NBC's "The Voice", and LLeft's own master of hip-hop, Tracey Lee.

Lee joins Hardsoul on the You Remind Me track, an ode to the 80s/90's basement party throwing, red cup sipping, Fila and Kango wearing, fly girl dancing, funky good time era. Your summer cruisin' afternoons with the windows down must include this track. It is available everywhere digital music is sold.
