RUN THE JEWELS EXTEND RUN THE WORLD TOUR; INCLUDING DATES WITH DANNY BROWN, DENZEL CURRY & CUZ LIGHTYEAR

CW Music 8:17 PM

Run The Jewels have extended their "Run The World" tour with new dates including a run in the UK and Europe with Detroit rap maverick and very special guest Danny Brown and a new set of US dates with Denzel Curry and Cuz Lightyear. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 16.

Since the surprise Christmas release of Run The Jewels' incendiary third album, Run The Jewels 3, the powerhouse pair have continued to go from strength to strength. Their ongoing Run The World tour has seen them rampage through a 36-date run in North America culminating in four sold out shows at New York's Terminal 5, play their biggest ever venues in Europe including a triumphant gig at London's Roundhouse, and continue to comprehensively tear down major festivals (including Primavera, Field Day and, just yesterday, Parklife).

This weekend the guys were honored with two A2IM Libera Awards (for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year & Video of the Year for their DJ Shadow collaboration "Nobody Speak"). The duo have also made multiple forays into film over the past few weeks including the release of "Chase Me" (a collaboration with Dangermouse and Big Boi for the Baby Driver soundtrack), inclusion in the new Baywatch film, and a prominent placement in the trailer for the forthcoming Black Panther film. Run The Jewels are also up for multiple Cannes Lions for their Gears of War 4 integration (the guys are available as playable characters in the game), and will be speaking at the festival on June 21 to announce a new creative content collaboration.
