Hiphopdx Premiere
Eminem's new artist Conway teamed up with Jonathan Hay for "Pawn Shop" from the forthcoming dark comedic hip-hop album The Hoodlum Ball. The new single "Pawn Shop" represents the struggle to come up and try to make ends meet while pursing dreams, borrowing the lines "I don't want to live no more, sometimes I hear death knocking at my front door," from Biggie's classic "Everyday Struggle".
Produced entirely by Jonathan Hay, RX66 and Mani Ajami, The Hoodlum Ball also features The Game, Twista, Riff Raff, MC Eiht, Chino XL, Kxng Crooked and more. The LP is scheduled to be released in early December through the Smith and Hay record label.
