A$AP ROCKY DROPS NEW SONG & OFFICIAL VIDEO "A$AP FOREVER" FEAT MOBY

CW Music 4:19 PM

Continuing to change the course of art and history within each medium he works in, A$AP Rocky today shares the new track and official video for "A$AP Forever" featuring Moby (A$AP Worldwide / Polo Grounds Music / RCA Records). Sampling the instantly recognizable and iconic "Porcelain" from Moby's seminal '99 electronic-turned-pop album Play, Rocky pays homage to the end of the 20th century when electronic music first hit the mainstream waves, while also introducing a whole new audience of young fans to the history-making artist and album. The song is accompanied with the official video, directed by Dexter Navy, that follows Rocky through his own stunning version of augmented reality and everlasting moments of youth in New York, floating freely between space and time. Rocky debuted the song live for the first time last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with live production mirrored similarly to the official video, and teased part of another new song"Distorted Records" - links to check all below.

While it's been 3 years since the release of Rocky's last solo album, At. Long. Last. A$AP, which was Rocky's second album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 and was Platinum-certified, Rocky has been anything but quiet. Carrying on the legacy of the A$AP Mob co-founder A$AP Yams, Rocky and the A$AP Mob released two mixtapes, 2016's Cozy Tapes Vol 1: Friends- and 2017's Cozy Tapes Vol 2: Too Cozy, featuring the hit single "RAF" which has now streamed over 100M times, alongside carrying on the successful yearly tradition of Yams Day celebrations in NYC, late night TV appearances, official video releases and world tours and starred in a highly touted Calvin Klein advertising campaign. The past two years have also seen Rocky's creative agency AWGE in the spotlight, launching partnerships with MTV, GUESS, Under Armour, Courvoisier, DIor, Mercedes Benz, JW Anderson etc and introducing and launching the careers of new artists such as Playboi Carti, Smooky MarGielaa and more. Rocky has collaborated with many high profile artists, resulting in multiple songs in the top 10 at radio and millions of streams, including G-Eazy's 3x RIAA Platinum "No Limit" with Cardi B, Famous Dex's RIAA Gold "Pick It Up" which has racked up over 200M streams, "Cocky" with Gucci Mane and 21 Savage from the Uncle Drew soundtrack, Mura Masa's "Love$ick", Tyler, The Creator's "Who Dat Boy", and songs with Lana del Rey, The Weeknd, Young Thug, Skepta, Juicy J, Quavo, 30 Seconds to Mars, Alicia Keys and more. Last week, Rocky dropped the track "Bad Company" featuring BlocBoy JB, which has already streamed over 5M times in less than 2 weeks. It's no wonder the GQ Style 2017 cover-star was dubbed "the world's flyest human".
