Laval, Quebec's own prince of bass High Klassified returns to his Kronostasis EP (SOCAN's Best Electronic Release of 2016) to create a wonderfully surreal video for "Gold" featuring Mick Jenkins. However, the beloved Chicago MC is nowhere to be found in director Rachid Allaoua's dreamlike clip; instead, High Klassified stars in an engrossingly strange love story, soundtracked by Mick's heartfelt vocals ("I got gold all in my skin / water in my eyes") and HK's futuristic thump.
