Hailing from Minnesota by way of Liberia Monroe Dunbar JR. Is better known asOG Grip. The oldest of ten children, Grip starting writing lyrics in his notebook at 9. He became a student of the game and made a name for himself in Minnesota with his deep voice and gritty lyrics winning local talent shows
and rap battles.
As he grew to understand the music industry he chose to create his own label, Unstable Intellect. He has performed along side and collaborated with such notable acts like DJ Quick, Nelly and the legendary Scarface. Teasing his fans with numerous guest appearances in recent years, the streets were buzzing when word of a new album leaked early this year.
