The A3C compilation series has been influential within the genre, serving as a barometer to gauge which artists will become renowned staples in the ever-changing hip-hop landscape. Past compilation artists include G-Eazy, Curren$y, Action Bronson, Big K.R.I.T, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown, Underachievers, Smoke DZA, Trademark Da Skydiver, Freddie Gibbs, Sir Michael Rocks, Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins, Dave East, Thouxanbanfauni, Robb Bank$, Michael Christmas, Tunji Ige, Manolo Rose, and Trinidad James, just to name a few.  For this reason, the compilation has seen praise from various outlets including Apple, as its editors raved, “the A&R rep has done a commendable job, cherry-picking some of the most promising, would-be rap stars from countless wannabes.”
This year's compilation will continue to spotlight the genre’s foremost emerging artists with approximately 50 tracks from the newest generation of hip-hop's torchbearers and will be released on 11-24-2017

At just 19 years-old, Delaware native Lil West is putting his home state’s hip-hop scene on the map. In mid-2015, he released his first mixtape Indigo with Florida-based producer Nodachi, and then capitalized with his second mixtape, That’s Too Much, in late December. In May of 2016, he dropped his third mixtape Indigo 2 with Nodachi once again producing the entire project under the moniker ElijahWiley. In between, West raised his profile through notable collaborations with 21 Savage, Rich The Kid, and Night Lovell, among others.  In September of this year, he dropped his first major album titled LW17, this time with contributions from several producers and collaborations with artists including Kodie Shane.  Now, Lil West is sharing his darkly hypnotic track “Heart4orever,” produced by Dmac.

Born in raised in the streets of Warner Robins, Georgia, Brudda Haitian jumped head-first into the rap game at 16 years-old, selling his first mixtape in his high school hallways. However, it wasn’t until his hit single, “Gone Bad,” was released that people across the country began to notice. As Pigeons and Planes explained, “‘Gone Bad’ has been shutting down clubs all year and now it's starting to expand outside of the region.” His 2017 mixtape, I Am the New Dope, has earned Brudda accolades and has heightened his ever-growing presence as a force in the southern hip-hop scene. Today, Brudda Haitian shares his latest track “Max Out,” a hard-hitting banger produced by Deraj Global, featured on A3C Volume 7.
