Torii Wolf makes it perfectly clear what she needs in her sultry new video for “Body,” which was premiered today by Vevo.
“Body” is a non-LP cut which finds Torii collaborating with araabMUZIK (who also produced the entirety of Joe Budden’s forthcoming Rage & The Machine album). Similar to her previous singles, “1st” and “Shadows Crawl,” Torii continues to display an innate ability to channel mood over araab’s canvas with “Body.”
Thanks to her sultry voice, range and vast musical talent (let us not forget DJ Premier’s production) Torii Wolf has enjoyed a precipitous rise over the last four months. Though she has yet to release her debut album, Flow Riiot, (which is a collaborative project with DJ Premier), Torii has already premiered music with Pitchfork, Complex, Pigeons & Planes, Hotnewhiphop, Mass Appeal, Vibe & Okayplayer, been tapped for Vevo’s “dscvr” series (past alumni include Tove Lo, Sam Smith, Hozier, DNCE, Alessia Cara) and she was recently highlighted by Apple Music.
